Marketing and Sales Management Acaedmy (MSMA)
MSMA is a four days program designed to help individuals and firms to develop marketing and sales culture, understand customers’ needs, plan and implement marketing strategies to achieve sales goals. This means that the attendees will be trained and given frameworks to plan, implement and see through marketing and sales strategies for their various businesses.
Marketing management is the planning, organisation, control and implementation of the marketing programs of an organisation. This includes the policies, programs, strategies and tactics used to create and meet the demand of target customers in order to create profitability for the company.
On the other hand, Sales management is a business discipline which is focused on the practical application of sales techniques and the management of a firm’s sales operations.
“Without marketing and sales, a business has no business being in business”.
The sales and marketing departments within an organization are inextricably linked.
While the marketing function within an organization aims to establish the requirements of actual and prospective customers and promote the company’s products or services, the sales department actively sells the company’s products to customers.
The fundamental distinction between the two departments is that the marketing department’s efforts cost the organization expenses whereas the sales department generates revenue to the company.
